CROPPED HOODIE SEASON

I'm happiest when Fall weather finally kicks in. Days like these call for a clash between seasonal pieces. Warm enough to wear a skirt but also breezy enough to throw on a hoodie. There's nothing I love more than leisure wear. I'm absolutely obsessed with this cropped hoodie from Urban Outfitters; it's versatile, can be worn in several different ways, and super cozy. Don't put away those Summer clothes just yet, because with this weather you may just find use for them. More below on where to shop this look!

WHITEOUT

Happy August! Yes... I said August. How is Summer already almost over?! Make it stop. Luckily we're nearing my favorite season; Fall! Who's excited to whip out their boots?! I know I am. A ton of retailers are already in Pre-Fall mode... I'm seeing a ton of neutral tones, oversized (everything), floral prints, re-worked denim, and my absolute favorite; layering.

I was never bold enough to JUST wear white. I've always had anxiety towards the color because I can be very clumsy. Wine and white do NOT mix (I learned that the hard way). Any who, for this look I paired a fringe Zara skirt with one of my favorite tops from SheIn because of the striped exaggerated sleeves, a pair of simple ankle strap shoes from DSW and these super-cool sunnies from StyleAddict (new favorite shop).

Now my real question...how do you wear white?

SATIN SITUATION

If there's one thing you all should know - its that I have a serious obsession with satin. Satin tops, dresses, bottoms... you name it! My eye always wanders towards that specific material because of how feminine and sultry it is. Now that we're in the month of July (can you believe it?!) it can get so unbelievably hot to the point where you really don't want to be wearing thick pieces. I find that wearing satin almost feels like you have nothing on. It's light, easy to move in, and simple. You can pair it with almost anything for that "cool girl look". I chose to pair this Rosie Tie Front Satin Shirt from Boohoo with yet another PacSun skirt, Sam Edelman heels (which happen to be one of my favorite footwear brands if you're looking for something more affordable & chic) and Free People's Mega Metal Hoops in gold for a finishing touch.

Side note: last summer I had a phone conversation with Sam Edelman himself (don't ask how - but i'll probably still tell you)...yeah... still not over it.
